About Me

Hey to whoever’s reading this. And a little about me. I’m Louise, I’m 25 years old, and looking to break into the museum  scene. I started my post grad in Museum Studies at Leicester in 2013 and should be graduating September this year.

I like to think I read pretty much anything, from any genre, as long as it looks good but looking at my bookshelf I’m going to have to admit a slight tendency towards fantasy, gothic literature, children’s books, and ‘the classics’, with contemporary, realistic fiction, chick-lit and romance severely underrepresented. So if that’s what you’re into this is probably not the blog for you.

  1. Hello Book Fiend. I hope you are well.

I myself have published a book recently and was wondering if you would be interested in reviewing it. It is a collection of short stories called Shades of Grey and I can provide you with a code that will enable you to download a copy for free.

PS – I am not your old English teacher so no need to panic.

    • Hey, sorry but I’m going to have to say no.
For one thing I’m a complete luddite who doesn’t own an e-reader of any kind so the format wouldn’t work for me. Also I have a ton of books already on my list to get through and I’m still a bit new to this whole book-blogging thing. I’m mostly blogging for me at the moment so, until I’m a bit more confident with it, I would feel quite uncomfortable writing a review I know the author might read.
Thank you for the offer though and good luck, I hope your book does well.

      • No problem at all and thanks for replying.

Good luck with your blog. I know what you mean about getting the feel for blogging first, I was quite anxious about it at first.

Just try to remember that there isn’t any real need to feel embarrassed about what you put on it.
